When I think of Halloween, I think pumpkins.

Though growing up we didn’t carve pumpkins, my best friend and I started while we were in college. Then Tim and I decided to continue the tradition.

This year, Tim went with a Jack the Pumpkin King carving.

And I went with a Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil theme. To make each hand the same, I used a charcoal-transfer method that worked out very well.

And then, because we live in Florida, the pumpkins slowly started to die. Sadly they didn’t make it to Halloween, but they did look nice and scary.
